The weekend I have the opportunity to speak at all Masses at the Church of the Visitation in Brick about the 40 Days for Life. Masses at Visitation are Saturday 4:00 and 5:30 PM and Sunday 6:45 AM, 8AM, 9:30AM, 11AM, 12:30AM.
I will be asking parishioners to join us in the 40 Days for Life prayer vigil for one hour a week on site at the abortion center on Rt 37 W in Toms River, NJ.
St. James tells us (1:22) Be doers of the word, not hearers only, deceiving yourself.
What better opportunity to be a doer of the Word?
What better sacrifice during Lent then to give just one hour a week in prayer?
What better way to make a difference in this world, than to pray to end abortion?
