The Spiritual Battle on site at the abortuary.

Tuesday night, 7 PM at St. Joe’s in Toms River is a special Mass and Rosary to kick off the 40 Days for Life Prayer Vigil.

What a powerful way to begin the vigil: The two most powerful weapons we have in this spiritual battle against evil: The Holy Rosary and the Holy Eucharist !

Wednesday, Feb 17 is Ash Wednesday and the first official day of our Prayer Vigil on site at the abortuary on Rt 37 in Toms River, so far we have nearly 300 Prayer Warriors committed to attend, each committing one hour a week from Ash Wednesday through Palm Sunday.

At 4:45PM on Wednesday we will have a Prayer Rally on site at the abortuary.

I will lead the first hour of prayer, beginning at 8 AM on Wednesday and each day of the 40 I will lead The Rosary of the Seven Sorrows of Mary.

The Rosary of the Seven Sorrows dates back to the Middle Ages, but it gained new popularity following the Marian apparitions in Kibeho, which have been approved by the Catholic Church.

During Mary’s apparitions to Marie-Claire Mukangango, she assigned the young visionary a mission to reintroduce this special rosary to the world. Before her untimely death, Marie-Claire did just that, traveling widely to teach it to thousands of people, who then taught it to thousands of others.

We will use the meditations of this powerful rosary that the Virgin Mother herself taught to Marie-Claire in Kibeho.

The weekend I have the opportunity to speak at all Masses at the Church of the Visitation in Brick about the 40 Days for Life. Masses at Visitation are Saturday 4:00 and 5:30 PM and Sunday 6:45 AM, 8AM, 9:30AM, 11AM, 12:30AM.

Planned Parenthood = Planned Abortions

Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider has come up with a new way to increase business.

What would happen if adolescents were indoctrinated with Planned Parenthood-style sex education that encouraged promiscuity? The answer:Even more abortions.

And who would profit from more abortions? You guessed it. Planned Parenthood.

A new report by the International Planned Parenthood Federation, titled STAND AND DELIVER, is advocating that children as young as 10 be given extensive sex education, including an awareness of sex's pleasures.

The new report states: "Young people's sexuality is still contentious for many religious institutions. Fundamentalist and other religious groups — the Catholic Church and madrasas (Islamic Schools) for example — have imposed tremendous barriers that prevent young people, particularly, from obtaining information and services related to sex and reproduction. Currently, many religious teachings deny the pleasurable and positive aspects of sex."

The report argues that sex education should be "recast" to show sexuality as a "positive force for change and development, as a source of pleasure, an embodiment of human rights and an expression of self."

Parents! Is this what you want your 10 or 11 year old son or daughter to be taught.

For Planned Parenthood it’s a simple business plan: Advocate liberal sexual education to minors = more teenage sex = more teenage pregnancies = more teenage abortions = more profit for Planned Parenthood.

Make no mistake about it. We are engaged in spiritual warfare. Prayer is our weapon! God is on our side. We will be victorious.

Messages from Our Lady

I believe that if the Blessed Virgin Mary tells us to do something, it would be prudent to try and do it.

During her apparitions in the 1980’s at Kibeho, Rwanda, Mary asked us, through the visionary Marie Claire, to pray the Rosary of the Seven Sorrows.

Each morning of the 40 Days for Live Prayer Vigil, on site at the abortion clinic on Route 37 in Toms River, those gathered will pray the Rosary of the Seven Sorrows as it was dictated by Our Lady.

This week, on Feb 2nd Mary gave a special message to Mirjana in Medjugorje: Dear children; With motherly love, today I call you to be a lighthouse to all souls who wander in the darkness of ignorance of God's love. That you may shine all the brighter and draw all the more souls, do not permit the untruths which come out of your mouth to silence your conscience. Be perfect. I am leading you with my motherly hand – a hand of love. Thank you. ”

Mary's monthly message on Jan 25 was: “Dear children! May this time be a time of personal prayer for you, so that the seed of faith may grow in your hearts; and may it grow into a joyful witness to others. I am with you and I desire to inspire you all: grow and rejoice in the Lord Who has created you. Thank you for having responded to my call. ”
I think both messages apply to all of us participating in the 40 Days for Life Prayer Vigil from Feb 17 to March 28.

St. Justin’s was a successful weekend for Vigil recruitment. St.Justin's should be very proud of the responsiveness of their parishioners.

I also enjoyed being present for all the Masses and 7 consecrations of the Holy Eucharist.

We are off to a good start with lots of sign ups for vigil hours during the 40 Days for Life Campaign More opportunities to speak at other local churches over the next few weekends.

Our core team of leaders for the 40 Days campaign met together Sunday afternoon to pray together as a team.

We started a 9 Sunday Novena to Saint Joseph that will continue into the vigil, ending on his feast day.

We also prayed the Litany in Response to Abortion, which will also be prayed on site at the abortion mill during the 40 Days for Life Campaign. It is worth repeating here:

Tonight and tomorrow I have the opportunity to speak after each Mass at St. Justin's about the 40 Days for Life in Toms River and ask people to sign up to participate at the vigil, with 1 hour per week on site at the abortion clinic.

Here is what I think I am going to say:

THIS SPRING, FROM FEB 17 TO MARCH 28, TOMS RIVER WILL JOIN OVER 160 CITIES ACROSS AMERICA IN THE LARGEST PROLIFE MOBILIZATION IN HISTORY, THE 40 DAYS FOR LIFE.

THROUGHOUT HISTORY, GOD HAS USED 40 DAYS AS A TIME OF TRANSFORMATION:
NOAH WAS TRANSFORMED AFTER 40 DAYS OF RAIN; MOSES WAS TRANSFORMED AFTER 40 DAYS ON THE MOUNTAIN; THE WORLD WAS AFTER JESUS SPENT 40 DAYS IN THE DESERT.

THIS SPRING, FROM ASH WEDNESDAY TO PALM SUNDAY IT WILL HAPPEN AGAIN:
40 DAYS FOR LIFE: 40 DAYS OF FASTING AND VIGIL; 40 DAYS OF PRAYER; 40 DAYS OF COMMUNITY OUTREACH

THAT’S THE POWER OF YOUR PRAYERS…. THAT’S THE POWER OF THE INTERCESSION OF THE MOTHER OF THE WORD AND THE MOTHER OF THE ENTIRE WORLD – OUR LADY, THE BLESSED VIRGIN…WHO SAID YES TO GOD, SAID YES TO LIFE.

THAT THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT….TO TOUCH THE HEARTS AND MINDS OF PEOPLE WHO NEED THE COURAGE, FAITH AND VISION TO CHANGE.

THAT’S THE POWER OF THE 40 DAYS FOR LIFE VIGIL HERE IN TOMS RIVER.

SO NOW, YOU HAVE A CHOICE. WHEN YOU LEAVE HERE TODAY, SOME WILL WALK RIGHT ON BY, AS IF YOU DIDN’T HEAR A WORD I SAID, AND THAT’S OK.
